Michael Bailey Smith is an American actor. He is best known for his appearances on the television series Charmed (2000-2002), where he played as Belthazor / Shax / Grimlock / The Source / Janor, in Nash Bridges (2000-2001) as Mike "Iron Mike" Willis and as villain Pluto in the remake of The Hills Have Eyes (2006) and in The Hills Have Eyes II as Papa Hades (2007).

Smith first audition was for the 1989 film A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child and he landed the role of Super Freddy. Smith would appear three years later in Renegade (1992) playing PJ Butler. In 1994, he appeared in Marvel Comics adaptation of The Fantastic Four as Ben Grimm, The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) and in Cyborg 3: The Recycler as Donovan Cyborg.

Smith appeared in many TV series, such as Babylon 5 (1995), Diagnosis: Murder (1998), Star Trek: Voyager, Wings (1996) and Conan the Adventurer (1997), My Favorite Martian (1999), The X-Files (1999), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2000),  Men in Black II (2002), Black Mask 2: City of Masks, Desperate Housewives (2005), Two and a Half Men (2011) and Shameless (2012).
