Katherine Dee Strickland is an American actress. She is known for her role of Dr. Charlotte King on the ABC drama Private Practice (2007–2013), American Gangster (2007), The Family That Preys (2008), Grand Isle (2017) and The Time Capsule (2022).
Strickland's career began in 1999 with a brief appearance at a funeral after-party in The Sixth Sense. The same year, she served as an extra in the independent film The Sterling Chase, and appeared in a drama Girl, Interrupted.
Her participation in the 2003 Hollywood films Anything Else and Something's Gotta Give led to her receiving significant parts in the 2004 horror films Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid and The Grudge.
In 2005, she was in romantic comedy Fever Pitch, and was a regular on the television show The Wedding Bells in 2007.
Her other work in TV included : Walker Payne (2006), The Flock (2007), Grey's Anatomy (2007), Secrets and Lies (2015), Shut Eye (2016), Cruel Summer (2022) and Chicago Fire (2024).
